PERSONAL CARE:
- Homemaker – non-skilled services provided in the patient’s home; includes personal and home managment.
- Companion – Service provided at patient’s choice of location; includes such activities as traveling with the patient to outside functions and assisting with ambulation.
- Live In – service providing 24-hour, daily presence in the patient’s home. Live-ins offer special relationship which includes assistance with the management for persons who require non-medical support. Typical duties may include light housekeeping, shopping, errands, laundry, meal preparation, and companionship.
- Bathing and Tuck-In – services that provide personal care and assistance in and out of bed, morning and evening.
- House-Sitting – services includes watching over property, pets, plants, pool, and car.
- Saturday Night Special – bathing services provided to anyone confined to the home. Allows caregivers at home to go out for 2 hours and to have the clients bathed and ready for Sunday.
